Recently I found the beauty in the traditional art of kalamkari so I have experimented on a few of my own. A blend of the traditional with the modren, but I tried to stay true to the original.

Sleeping Buddha

Sleeping Buddha is a serene picture to behold. His peaceful expression, his calm demenour, and a radiant face  while he sleeps contemplating the past, present and the future. This particular statue is from a peace pagoda in Bhubaneshwar, Orissa which we have visited recently.
